October marks the beginning of fall, with temperate weather and crisp fall colors. Butterfly Bush, Chrysanthemum, Asters and Japanese Anemone continue to bloom, at least through the middle of the month. Look for Beautyberry and the purple clusters of small berries that attract birds.
