Photos of the Garden
Can I Take Pictures In The Garden?
Many professional photographers and charmed visitors have taken beautiful pictures of our gardens over the years. We're always happy to accommodate whenever and wherever a photo shoot can be performed without injuring the plants and flowers, or preventing our volunteers from getting the work done to take care of the plants. It takes many months to grow a garden, and the flowers in our public community garden are offered for viewing and photographing for the enjoyment of all of our visitors freely.
In fact, we were recently featured by NPR for the beautiful work of Darryl Pitt. The reason why Darryl began taking photos of our flowers is a beautiful story in itself. Please read it here.

Can I Share My Pictures?
Yes! We greatly appreciate photographs and pictures shared by casual visitors and professional photographers alike and would love to feature and share your creative works with other gardeners. How Can I Help The Photo Gallery?
Donations help us continue the garden every year, and the kindness and courtesy of park visitors keep us working to help with plant questions and gardening tips year round.
If you are interested in photographing and learning more about the garden, you can also volunteer in our weekend workshops during the growing months. A schedule will be posted on our Events page and on the garden gate listing the 2-4 hour volunteer sessions during the garden-tending season.
Enjoy!
